OUT & ABOUT in Japan ... a dirty contraption???

WARNING!!  SOME FOREIGNERS MAY FIND THIS UNSUITABLE!!

Cleaning as we know it is a daily chore and is really unavoidable ... well, that is if you like things to be clean :))

In Australia a toilet is something you either stand in front of or sit down on, your business is done and then you walk away.  The toilet, or dunny, as we call it in Australia is considered a simple contraption and is traditional in design.  A toilet in Australia is not something considered to be a cleaning tool.

A toilet is a toilet and that's it!!  ... or is it!?!??

Now here in Japan the toilet I found is totally connected!!

Connected to the water flow!! ... YUCK!!

Who on earth sticks their hands in a toilet to clean a cloth!?!?!?

OK, this is a public toilet in a park.  It looks clean but with out a doubt these instructional pictures were taken when the toilet was installed or at the company where the toilet was made.

Now I understand that Japanese like contraptions but this is taking things a little too far. After a long day of constant use by people visiting the park, would you want to wash your cloth in the dunny????  :)) ... uuuugh, YUCK!!  :))
